Chocolate Pumpkin Smoothie
Perfect combo of protein, fiber, and veggies, with some fun spices for the season.
Chocolate Pumpkin Pie Smoothie
· 1 c nut milk of choice (unsweetened)
· 1 c water
· ¾ c pumpkin puree (or roasted butternut squash leftovers. Prepare dinner by roasting squash @450 for 40 min, and you will be sure to have leftovers!)
· 2 Tbs cocoa powder (unsweetened)
· 1 Tbs flax (or any of these: chia seeds, sesame seeds, sunflower seeds)
· 1 tsp ground cinnamon
· ¼ tsp ground ginger
· 1/8 tsp ground nutmeg
· 1/8 tsp ground cloves
· ½ banana (frozen or fresh)
· Handful ice cubes
Place all ingredients in blender (ice or frozen fruit last), and enjoy!
