Chicken Wings
Might be the reason we got an air fryer in the first place. And man, was it worth it!
Ingredients:
2 lb mixed chicken wings (1 bag wings, 1 bag drum sticks)
1 Tbs baking powder
S&P
Frozen: Put into pressure cooker, high for 10 min. Let release naturally.
Drain and pat wings fully dry. Mix 1 Tbs baking powder, S&P into a large mixing bowl. Cover wings, and put into air fryer
Air Fryer: 400F (or highest setting) for 15+ min. halfway, mix wings around.
Fresh: Drain and pat wings fully dry. Mix 1 Tbs baking powder, S&P into a large mixing bowl. Cover wings, and put into air fryer
Air Fryer: 250F for 15 min, then 400 (or highest setting, 15+ min)
Other site says cook at 375F for 25 minutes, then 5+ min @ 420F until crispy
While chicken is cooking, prep the sides:
Ingredients:
3+ cloves garlic, minced
1/3 cup butter, melted
Carrots, skinned, chopped into matchsticks
Celery, chopped into matchsticks
Chop the garlic, then rest of the veggies ( to give garlic time to activate).
Cook down the butter, (reserve half for the honey ones), and throw in the garlic in the remaining butter to cook down
Pick two of the toppings below, and divide the butter/garlic between two large bowls. Add in seasonings as you wish
Once wings are ready and still hot, dip in toppings! Serve immediately
